The fourteenth annual
All Saints Orthodox Church Vineyard
Blessing and Wine Festival will take place at the Vineyards & Winery
on Saturday, August 23 at 5:00 pm. Tickets will be available at the
Winery July 1. Adult tickets are $17 and children 12 and under
$8.
This is an event to promote the church
and is their most important fundraiser. The blessing
is a tradition practiced by the Orthodox Church since biblical
times. A brief but solemn ceremony includes a procession and
blessing of the vineyard by Archimandrite Father Daniel Griffith.
The Blessing feast traditionally occurs at the time the Church
honors the Virgin Mary’s repose. The feast features an authentic
Greek meal prepared and served by members of the parish of the All
Saints Church.
The Blessing
will begin the celebration promptly at 5 pm. Dinner begins at 6 pm,
and reservations are limited. View the menu here.
