Q: We’re planning a wedding! Can you accommodate both the wedding ceremony and the reception?

A: Yes! We can help you with either an indoor or outdoor wedding. Our vine-draped veranda and deck overlook the vineyards and creates a beautiful back-drop for your ceremony. We can provide an arbor, if you wish.

Q: Do we need to provide tables and chairs?

A: No. We provide tables and seating.

Q: How large of a group can you seat for a reception, luncheon or dinner?

A: We can seat 60 people inside with a buffet and 200 outside under our veranda and on the deck.

Q: For our event, we would like a bar that includes more than wine. Can you do this?

A: Yes. We can provide wine, beer, and mixed drinks. We provide the bar staff.

Q: Can we bring in our own beer and liquor?

A: We are a licensed Kansas liquor retailer, so by Kansas State Law, we can not allow you to bring in your own liquor or take any opened liquor to or from the Winery property.

Q: We are planning a family reunion. Can we bring our own food?

A: Smoky Hill Vineyards and Winery is pleased to accommodate you the best way we know how. To make your event both pleasant and as effortless as possible, we do not allow you to bring your own food. We will either prepare a plated meal or buffet (see food and beverage information) or work with a local caterer.

Q: May we bring our own cake and refreshments for our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary?

A: Yes. Food and beverages we do allow our guests to provide include cake, nuts, mints and punch.

Q: I am planning a corporate event. Do you provide A-V equipment?

A: We offer a television and VCR, and with advance notice, obtain any additional equipment you need to make your corporate meeting a success.
